13U Season Information

Fair Play rules in effect. No substitutions and 3 timeouts in sets 1 and 2 as there are no substitutions permitted (except injury). Substitutions and 2 timeouts allows in set 3
Triple ball - 2024-Tripleball-Document
- The 13U category will employ a tripleball format for the VA Premier Events. The goal of tripleball is to promote better skill development, participation, meaningful competition, and fun
- The player in position #3 or #2 will be the designated setter for that rotation. The setting position will be noted on the score sheet by the coach prior to each set. Switching positions is NOT ALLOWED.
- Athletes must play the tossed ball with a forearm pass, otherwise a replay will occur.
14U and younger competitions, receiving the serve with an overhand motion using the fingers (volley/setting) IS NOT PERMITTED, regardless of the quality of the contact
Time-outs: Coaches will be allowed to call 3 time-outs in sets 1 and 2
maximum of 12 players can be on the score sheet, in uniform, and participate in any given match. Teams may have a maximum of 15 players on the roster, participate in warmup, and sit on the bench

Technical Practices weekly Sunday afternoons for 1.5- 2hrs.

Focus on individual skill development

Additional weekday practices based on gym/coach availability.

Additional tourneys may be added based on tournament and coach availability

Fees for 2025:

13U: $800 – 2 Premiers & Provincials, local tournaments
