Welcome to the 2027 Season!

Valkyrie Volleyball Club have joined forces with Wetaskiwin Volleyball Club for the 2027 season!

 

Tryouts

Tryout information for 2027 season will follow Volleyball Alberta dates.

 

Re-Signing
Re-sign of current players is Jun 8-26. 
Rosters will be posted by Jun 28
 
Open Commitment
Open Commitment period is Jul 01-Aug 23.
Athletes can only have one Open Commitment and then are ineligible for tryouts with other clubs
Rosters will be posted by Aug 28
 
Fall Tryouts
16-18U:  Fall tryouts are Aug 30-Sept 13
14U-15U:  Fall Tryouts are Sept 14- 20
Rosters will be posted by Oct 04
 
   ** High School Sr Varsity players are permitted to attend tryouts on Aug 30, 31, Sept 6, 7, 13 only. 
       School Sport Alberta does not allow participation in non-school teams between Aug31-Nov28.
 
 
 

Team selection is always the hardest part of the season for coaches.

Signing of athletes happens during
re-signing and tryout periods, based on age category following Volleyball Alberta guidelines.
Roster size varies year-to-year.

 

2027 Fees

Fees will be determine by coaches based on season planning. 

13U/14U Developmental: 
$ TBA + jersey deposit
3 Volleyball Alberta Premiers & Provincials, local tournament(s)

16U Competitive: 
$ TBA + jersey deposit
3 Volleyball Alberta Premiers & Provincials, local tournament(s)

17U/18U Competitive: 
$1200-1500 + jersey deposit
3 Volleyball Alberta Premiers & Provincials, local tournament(s)

 

**Fees do not include mandatory Volleyball Alberta registration 

** Fees do not include travel costs.

** optional swag/ gear available

** Nationals participation are decided by the teams.
