Primary communications for registered players and parents/guardians will be through Team Snap. Registered players will received a link at the beginning of the year.

Please note this email is not regularly monitored during the off-season.

 

Complaints - Urgent Safety/Ethical Concerns

If the concern is an athlete safety matter, ensure the player is safe then contact the Wetaskiwin Volleyball Club immediately.

Concerns

If there are on-court concerns regarding the Coach or coaching decisions, please talk to your athlete first. They often have more information or an explanation for decisions or actions of the coaches.

If there is a concern

  • NEVER confront a coach during a tournament
    Emotions for all parties tend to be escalated during competition so it is not the ideal situation or confidential environment to effectively address concerns 

  • ALWAYS follow the 24 hour rule (take 24 hours from the start of the concern, prior to addressing it with coaches).
    Please talk to your athlete before talking to the Coaches

  • after the 24 hours has elapsed:

    • athlete speaks to coaches before or after practice

    • if concern not resolved: athlete/parent communicates the concern to coaches who will address it as appropriate via TeamSnap or
